Bio

This is me in the midst of God's great Earth in Tanzania, Africa. Domination.

I guess I might as well give y’all a little bio about myself. Most of you probably know this already and can fill in all the blanks, but some of you may find it useful.

First things first, I’m from Madison, Alabama — which is right outside of Space Camp — by way of Charleston, South Carolina. I’d classify myself as your typical upper-middle class Anglo-Protestant male (boring, I know), but I decided to take the first and largest adventurous step in applying to and enrolling at the University of Georgia in 2005.

So the next chapter of my life — the one in which I hear I’m supposed to “find myself,” “pursue my passions” and generally live out every cliche you’ve ever heard — is currently being wrapped up here in beautiful Athens, GA. I currently have no idea where this next chapter will lead me geographically, financially, spiritually or otherwise; I’m just along for the ride of a lifetime.

For a glimpse into a more personal “me,” I love my Yankees at least as much as I love my Dawgs, I dabble in both acoustic guitar and smooth vocal stylings, and I have newfound and blossoming passions for both photography and traveling. But my biggest newfound passion is for wine. Check out this blog post for a list of what I believe.

I can’t promise you anything about this blog, not how often I’ll post, not what I’ll post about, not anything. It’ll be an electronic stream of consciousness for me, so if a certain post or posts don’t entertain/interest you enough, check back later and I’ll probably have switched topics entirely.
